Jitsanu Promsorn a lese majeste suspect?

Readers might have noted that, according to a UN document we posted on recently, on 23 June 2009, Mr. Jitsanu Promsorn, a leader of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship, was arrested by police and is to be charged with violating Article 112 of the Criminal Code for allegedly making lese majeste remarks in a speech he made at Sanam Luang in Bangkok.

PPT has to note that we have no other information on this case, but we’ve added to our Pending Cases page. We are aware that the UN report got some names wrong. If readers know more, let us know.
